I have several things to discuss, however I'm going to be a complete twat and make separate entries regarding them. Just to be a pain in the ass.

The first topic of discussion is this:

Tonight marks my last night of freedom.
Tomorrow I am going to jump on the bandwagon that several of my friends are currently crowing about. This means I will be starting the Atkins diet. I plan on making a topic specific filter for this; all the posts will be filtered within this group.

What I would like to know is who would like to be included on this filter? I don't want people who are nosy and if I decide that you are just being nosy, your request will be denied. I would like the people who have either a.) experience with this b.) help they can offer me or c.) their own weight problems.

Also: before anyone jumps up with their opinion on this diet plan, allow me to say that I have been researching this quite thoroughly. I know all the pitfalls. I know the dangers of doing it incorrectly. I know all the myths (and most of the bad things you hear about it are indeed myths from people who haven't a clue what they're talking about). I have put a great deal of thought into this. I am not disregarding anyone's opinion. What I am doing is stating that I've heard it ALL before, so please do not waste your breath. This is very important to me.

I drank half&half out of a fancy little teacup today. It felt decadent. For breakfast I had a cheese omelet with four pieces of bacon. I also had a cup of ice cream made with nothing but whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar. For dinner I had turkey and mayonnaise wrapped around fat slices of sharp cheddar.
