Mephistopheles (Misty) 1989-2007

Well, Misty made his own choice, rather than having me make the decision for him.

He died, peacefully at home and with no pain or scary vet's office, this morning. Just in front of the china cabinet. I had stayed up almost all night with him, but had dozed off for a couple of hours. I'd woken up with a start around nine and found him, still warm.

We buried him in my father's backyard this afternoon, wrapped in a glow-in-the-dark skull and crossbones pillowcase.

Goodbye, Slim.
I'll miss you so fucking much.
Say hi to Mommy for me.

I am thankful for the way he went, but I am so terribly sad that he is gone. He undoubtably had a good life with you.
