It's an absolutely gorgeous day outside and I am unfortunately stuck in baby-killing headquarters until I decide to pull up stakes and clock out.
It feels like the tongue tip of autumn is rolling in, a chill in the air that brightens my eyes and shivers my brain into alertness.
What I want to be doing is driving the Caddy-Beast to Cape May to hunt for diamonds in the surf, or maybe throwing open all the windows in my apartment and brushing the stink out. But, neither of those is going to happen at this time.
Well. Maybe I can clean later, but it wouldn't bring me the same amount of joy as it would if I could do it right now.
For now I must content myself with filing in my tiny little hole of an office with no shoes on and dancing to the Nick Cave mixed tape I made for someone years ago and in a moment of selfishness, never gave to them.

My biggest problem in the creation of is the space they occupy. It is really easy to lose the trail of breadcrumbs, as it were, to wherever you wanted to go, or in alot of cases, where the CD wants to go.
I get a certain sensation of omnipotence when finished however.
It becomes something more substantial than a flat piece of metal, something with a presence, something with aenima.
I'de be curious as to the contents of yuor mixed CD.

The mix I made was actually on a cassette tape, rather then a CD. Tapes, a dying breed.
I don't have the setlist on hand, but next time I listen to it, I'll write down the tracks for you. That should be tomorrow, given the amount of times I've been listening to this tape.
I'm very picky about what tracks I put on a mix and they usually only follow some strange sort of Tara-order that's only meaningful to me.
