You know the thing I said about leaving the job I'm at for another one?
I'm not quite sure if that's still happening.
A miscommunication in salary negotiation seems to have led to them interviewing more people. I'm still in the top running, they said. And I'll be receiving a phone call on Tuesday.
There isn't even a word for the emotion that I am now feeling, but it does involve a lot of screaming and crying.
Sometimes it feels like everything I attempt to do is destined to fail. And that the only time I manage to raise myself up from the pit is so that I can be flung back down to Earth that much harder.
