Now, if only she'd eat again for me. >:O

First snake isn't eating and I'm thinking of getting a second one? WTF is wrong with me sometimes, I do not know.

That being said, since I know I won't be getting a piebald ball python any time soon, I've set my sights on either one of these:

Leucistic Texas Rat snake

One of these:

Leucistic black rat snake

of one of these:

Western Hognose
(that's actually a photo of Dr. Pickles, the Engineer's hognose, who I would steal given half a chance.)

That is completely hilarious!

Dr. Pickles has a different texture than other snakes I've held. It's more...textured? I don't know. He feels drier, not as slick. You can actually feel his scales. He's a wonderful creature. Especially when he tries to inch-worm away from me. I call him "Mister Furious" because he always looks so angry all the time.

:D

He does seem to have eye ridges that make him all frowny.

I would pay for a crocheted Dr Pickles. Seriously!
