This has now become a shit day, indeed.
On a whim, I decided to call the record store to inquire after the new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds CD which had been set to release today.
I was then informed that tody, the 3rd is the FUCKING UK RELEASE DATE.
We lowly Americans have to wait until the 11th.
The 11th?!
Fuck all that noise.
I am SO disappointed. I was incredibly hyped up for when I got done work, I was going to go to the record store with the Engineer and pick up the new cd, then drive home with all the windows down and the wind blowing everywhere and the volume cranked. And the weather today was absolutely perfect for such an endevour.
