Fear
My baby ferret, Edgar, who is barely a year old is sick. I'm not quite sure what is wrong with him, as he was fine when I left the house a few hours ago. It was the other ferret, Midnight (the old albino) who I was worried about. Now, however, it's the baby.
He's extremely lethargic, enough so that I can hold him in my lap for quite some time without him squirming to be let down. He's not moving around very much. He's apparently been vomiting. Doesn't want food, though I did manage to get him to drink and take a few hits from the ferret vitamin tube that I have.
Now, he's just in my lap wrapped up in the purple scarf that Strange Girl gave me for my last birthday. Completely docile. Just lying there. This is so unlike him. It scares the fucking hell out of me.

Never before was I able to get him to sit still long enough for a photo to be taken. Now, he doesn't want to do anything else BUT sit.
I'm so afraid. It could be any number of things wrong with him. Some of them quite bad. I wish to God that the vet had emergency hours, because I'd be at the office right this second.
I'll call them as soon as I get up in the morning, if I even go to bed at this point. I'm not so sure I'll be able to sleep.
