I just spoke to my mother on the phone.

The cat scan basically showed a mass. They don't know if it's the diverticulation (a fancy word for perforated bowel) or a tumour. The doctor wanted to go in for immediate surgery, but she has fluid around her heart. So, they're calling in a specialist.
