I'm sick now.
All snorty and coughing and a halfway runny nose. I sound like my voice has gone through the shredder. Friday was spent getting tattooed by the Zombie King, pictures top follow. They're two bats, done in green and purple, on my chest. A bit like the tradition swallows/bluebirds that people tend to get in the same area. I love them. They are my flappy guys.
My mother's doing so-so. She's set up on morphine right now, looking a wee bit better. She hollared at me (half teasing) for getting a new tattoo. And she waggled the Eeyore I bought for at me and said he didn't like it, either.
Asshole-no-long-my-sibling showed up there, but I wasn't around for it. Mom says he looks like shit and is taking it hard. *snorts* Well, who isn't?!
I want to smack him.
She's been moved out of ICU, thank goodness because I hate that ward. And will hopefully be coming home at the end of this week. However, it looks like she won't be able to work for six months. Which is a huge fucking screw. She'll get disability, but it's not the full amount of her pay. I need to scramble hardcore to get a job now. And I'm not sure how this is going to effect me going back to school.
She said we're not going to think about it right now. Wait until we know exactly what's going on. But, now is not the time to worry. So, I'm going to just take her at word and wait.
As difficult as that may be.
