(no subject)

Some people simply DO NOT understand.
Whether it's willful or accidential, I haven't worked out.

But, how exactly does one get through life when one is so painfully obtuse? I mean, really.

You could write a letter, tie it to a brick, and throw it through their front window. And they STILL wouldn't get it. It conmpletely amazes me, especially when said brick recipient is fairly intelligent.

I'm going to get a sock and fill it full of nickels. Then whenever someone I know gets stupid-headed, I'm going to whack the shit out of them with my nickel sock. Or should it be sock nickels? I haven't decided yet.

That'll show them.

That'll show them ALL.

"haven't worked out"? Do you mean at the place of employment?

No, I mean it as "haven't worked it out in my head yet whether or not it's willful or accidential".

Ah...that some people do not understand...gotcha. I have this problem with The Husband all the time. HE thinks he's communicated a thought exactly as it should be and I'm sitting there going "huh? what the fuck are you talking about?". In his case, he doesn't think things all the way through before he speaks on whatever the topic du jour is. Hope you figure it out, sweetie....I was concerned.

that would be "sock o' nickels", my dear.

I think I need one as well.
Is a nice change from half-brick in sock.
I almost typed that as half brick in cock, which would also be useful in some cases.

You're talking about me, I know it. ;(

i believe its sock o nickels, and um,,,,some of us like to speak and type wayyy before we think it out.
i did that once this week and um.....if someone was to hit me with a sock full of white hot nickels,,,,i could see it. i think there should be stickers that say 5 dumbass points and the recipients should have to wear them untill the person who put it there feels they have earned its removal. after about 5 or six of em damn near anyone would get the hint

While I applaude your idea for the sock of nickels, might I suggest a slightly different approach?

Lego.

That's right. Use a handful of loose, lego pieces instead of the nickels. Your point will come across much more firmly and will even leave a lasting reminder.

I vote that you call your sock of pain The Persauder.

You should also consider using a Banshee wail as a precursor to it's use, firmly spoken words delivered with each blow of the memory cycle, and a closing argument introducing them to The Persauder.

In the future you should just be able to rattle your sock to break the fuckers down into pools of their own pathetic tears. *nods*

Pavlov is my bitch.

Persuader.

Although my vote's going towards "Sock of Pain".

Although my vote's going towards "Sock of Pain".
... it's easier to spell as well ;)

Oh, and it sounds threatening ... "Fear my sock of pain!"

*nods*
