Jun. 22nd, 2004 05:25 pmSome people simply DO NOT understand.
Whether it's willful or accidential, I haven't worked out.
But, how exactly does one get through life when one is so painfully obtuse? I mean, really.
You could write a letter, tie it to a brick, and throw it through their front window. And they STILL wouldn't get it. It conmpletely amazes me, especially when said brick recipient is fairly intelligent.
I'm going to get a sock and fill it full of nickels. Then whenever someone I know gets stupid-headed, I'm going to whack the shit out of them with my nickel sock. Or should it be sock nickels? I haven't decided yet.
That'll show them.
That'll show them ALL.

That's right. Use a handful of loose, lego pieces instead of the nickels. Your point will come across much more firmly and will even leave a lasting reminder.
I vote that you call your sock of pain The Persauder.
You should also consider using a Banshee wail as a precursor to it's use, firmly spoken words delivered with each blow of the memory cycle, and a closing argument introducing them to The Persauder.
In the future you should just be able to rattle your sock to break the fuckers down into pools of their own pathetic tears. *nods*

Although my vote's going towards "Sock of Pain".

Oh, and it sounds threatening ... "Fear my sock of pain!"
