At first, I thought it was just going to be my direct supervisor and our compliance officer. However, I glanced out the window as they were leaving and saw all three of my smoking buddies getting into the cars with them.

Although this has given me the chance to take off my shoes, drink three cans of sugar-free Red Bull* and blare Tom Waits all morning to my heart's content. I even did a little dance in my socks while I was filing.




* remind to NEVER do this again, eh? Baaaad idea.

It probably helps slightly with the buzz factor, but sugar highs also bring immense sugar crashes. And Red Bull isn't designed (or marketed) for crashing.

I was speeding after drinking those three sugar-free ones today. And I've downed several of the sugar containing variety in the past, with little to no crash afterward.

Also, I'm only smart sometimes. Just ask Miss Robin. ;)
