digital killed the analog star
Dec. 18th, 2001 01:19 amThose semen slurping dog bitches over at
www.eccentrica.org better get their asses in
gear.
I have a page that was hosted on manifest-angel.com.
I have had this page for over two years. Never
a peep out of me about their service, I loved it.
I hawked it to everyone who was looking for a free
webserver without pop ups.
This evening, I get an email from Tetsab telling
me that my page is pulling a 404. Nothing is
showing up. This gives me a case of the fits
because the last time I got an email like that,
my old Angelfire page (which held many, unbacked
up things) had been DELETED.
So, I do some research and discover yes, my page
is still there. But, now it's hosted by
eccentrica.org. Okay. Peachy. However, now I need
to change all of my links directing each of
the separate pages to eccentrica, rather than
manifest-angel. Not a terrible amount of work,
but still a snatchy pain.
Oh ho! I can not log in. Apparently, my password
is not what they have on file. Okay. Maybe I
changed it. I run through the small list of words
that I use for passwords. Grumbling clusterfuck.
None of them work, either.
I've emailed two addresses for admin help.
Someone BETTER get back to me.
I can still view my pages, but I have to go about
a convoluted way. Changing things in the
address bar because all of my links point to
something else. I was planning on backing all of
my stuff up this evening, but it would take
me hours upon hours to do so.
Bumbling shitfuckers.
I am SO angry right now.
