Hmmm. Been thinking about re-designing my website, as well as re-designing my Livejournal set up. I've had the Alice in Wonderland illustrations up on my website since the dawn of time, it feels like. Not to mention I haven't updated it in forever, though I do have some things I could update it with.

hrrm.
hrrm.
hrrm.

I filled out paperwork today for life insurance, through my work. Ten dollars a month for $100,000 policy? That's not so bad. I even picked out beneficiaries and all of that fun stuff.

There are people here who are getting twice and triple that. Which to me, just seems kind of silly. Of course, they're all loan officers. And loan officers are the worst people on the face of this earth. Bipedal arrogant sharks with enormous egos, walking around like the world should fall on its knees in cock sucking readiness.

Pah. Idiots, I say.

I've been so disgruntled with myself, lately. I haven't been doing any sewing. Any knitting. Any writing. It's really quite annoying. Especially when I have two unfinished scarves waiting for me and a third which hasn't even been started yet. Nevermind the fact that I've not even triedto learn all the other stitches Carrie tells me about. And my dolls? I've had a few cut out patterns waiting to be sewn together.

I feel like the world's biggest waste, but I can't seem to muster up the energy to give a damn about any of it right now. Maybe it's due to the miniscule amounts of sleep I receive every night.

Laffy Taffy Writer Disdains Bazooka

ITASCA, IL-Bruce Palmer, a writer and editor for Nestle's "Laffy Taffy" line of joke-bearing fruit-flavored chews, holds Topps Bazooka gum and its line of complimentary comic art in sneering contempt, he revealed Monday. "Don't get me wrong: In the Golden Age of the 1970s and 1980s, Bazooka Joe was amazing-a big influence on me," the 43-year-old Palmer said. "But when Topps went all corporate, and the P.C. suits made them dump [sombrero-clad mischief-maker] Pesty, it all went downhill." Palmer went on to dismiss Bazooka as "a stain on the proud literary genre of candy-wrapper humor."
