very, very busy
Mar. 15th, 2004 02:35 pmIt's been a swarm of activity, lately.
Some wanted (like job interviews and freelance work) and some not (like having to take my mother to the ER on Saturday).
I've managed to score a second interview with the super secret place for tomorrow which makes me all squeey. I had two other interviews today, at other places, which were stinky. One was fine, I just didn't really like the place and it's a bit far for me. The other was my aborted interview from Friday afternoon, the one I couldn't find. And it went okay, until they tested me on Excel.
Which I haven't used in seven months.
Which I used to be quite good at.
The girl breathed down my neck the entire time, making me extremely nervous, and I botched the entire operation. So, now I look like a bubblehead to these people. feh. I'm far past caring, at this point. I've been on so many freaking job interviews, that they're all starting to blend together.
Dog and pony show.
I've got my second interview with the special place tomorrow and then on Thursday, I have an interview with Miss Robin's company (finally, I only had my resume submitted A MONTH AGO).
I probably should spend the rest of this afternoon working on Mister Kyle's stuff, but I'm so damn tired. Sleep has not been a friend of mine the past few weeks and I do believe it's starting to catch up to me. I need money, though, so I'll probably force myself to get some work done. guh.
Oh, and the mom/ER thing. Everything's fine (now). She has a bladder infection. And we had the dubious joy of sitting in the emergency room for four and a half hours, me passing out every chance I got.
I really fucking hate hospitals.
Almost as much as I hate job interviews.
