If anybody in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Delaware/etc. area wants or knows someone who wants a cat, please contact me.
My boss's sister is going to China for a year to teach English. Their mother, who I have mentioned in previous entries, passed away due to breast cancer two years ago and my boss's sister took over guardianship of her cats (as well as getting a third cat, less than a year ago), but now that she is leaving for China, she is unable to continue taking care of them.
My boss, Angel, is unable to take any of the cats because she already has two (and one of them doesn't like other cats). Because of the cats connection to her mother, Angel's desperate to keep them out of a shelter (even one of those no-kill ones). Her sister is leaving on Monday, October 25th. So, we don't have all that much time.
P.C. is a 3 or 4-year old Domestic Shorthair/Siamese mix with grey-black points. He's neutered and very quiet, unlike any of the usual Siamese or Siamese mixes. *edit* P.C. is very, very skinny because whenever he gets upset, he stops eating. Angel thinks that people should be made aware of this. He is, however, incredibly lovey.
Stasha is 11 or 12-years old and female orange tabby. She's spayed and very sweet.
Both cats can't go to homes with young children because while they are very lovable and adore being petted and given attention, they do not like to be actually picked up.
The third cat is Claire, who is under a year old. She's a solid grey-blue colour and was a rescue off the street, so her actual breed is unknown (though could be Russian Blue).Angel's not sure if she's spayed or not, but is finding out for me. They don't think that Claire is spayed because there are no obvious scars. She's still a very young cat, so any surgeries would still be evident. Also, Angel says she would pay for her to be spayed if she isn't.
*edit*
All cat supplies are included with the adoption. Bowls, cat scratching tree post thing, etc.
Anyone who is willing to take any of these cats, please let me know. Either Angel or myself can transport them to wherever you are, if need be. Distance isn't much of an issue (although in a nearby state is preferred), it's moreso the point of finding them loving and responsible homes.
You can contact me through my LJ or my email (opiumtea at comcast dot net). Any help is appreciated.
