I think the doctors need to give you definiative answers first and foremost. Not giving you answers or keeping you updated isn't good. they need to tell you straight up about everything. I know you are having a meeting on tuesday, but frankly, they should have been doing this from the get go.
but yes, let them see what they can do. I really wish you luck, and I hope that what ever comes about, you at least get the answers you need and deserve.
