Having to spend an entire day/night/weekend explaining what I'm dressed as for Halloween: Priceless.

You'd think I enjoy this, from the amount of times I've wound up doing it (like last year's Queen of the Ringtailed Lemurs costume).

I'm not entirely thrilled with the glove dye job, as I couldn't get it quite as red as I wished. But, it'll suffice for tomorrow. I'm going to attempt to either track down liquid latex (I have a couple of ideas already) or buy a red satin glove. I had contemplated burning the wings a bit, maybe tattering them a little, but I'm afraid of 1. fucking the wings up and 2. burning down the apartment building.

Originally, I was planning on being Alice. Alice from Wonderland Alice, you know? But I, being me, procrastinated like a motherfuck about getting the actual dress part of the costume. Because of this, I know am the proud owner of a fluffy white petticoat and nothing else.

What in God's name am I going to do with a white petticoat?
Wait until next Halloween, I reckon.

Friday is dressing up for work day.
Saturday is the MWC's Halloween party.
Sunday is the Henri David ball in Philadelphia.

Wheee! In costume all weekend long!

have been considering getting a white petticoat for some time now.

I still don't know what I'm wearing for halloweenie.
Was considering being the Rubber Mallet Fairy or the Tool Fairy or an evil twist on the Tooth Fairy ( set of pliers. heh.) bc those only involve a vist to the hardware store for a black toolbelt. I don't have wings, but I can make some quick-like with hangers and pantyhose.

Also, I've seen cheapish red PVC gloves in stores like Ricky's or general halloweenie stores.
