I know it's not remotely the same thing, but I've been thinking about the whole mortality thing so much lately due to the kitten. And it's just so gut-wrenching and god-awful. You don't want them to suffer, but you'll never be ready to let go. I wish there was anything I could do to ease the pain. FWIW I think you are, and have been, and will continue to be, such an amazing daughter.

(*hug*) you're stronger than you know for all of this. as strong as...a small pony. that's pretty strong, that is. take all care. you're in my thoughts. energy with you.
