thejunipertreeThere are certain things that happen randomly in a relationship that remind one party why they chose the other party as a partner.
Just now, I received a text message from the Engineer regarding the thawed-out rat he had put in his ball python's tank last night for her to eat (this was the first time she ever got a rat and we were unsure if she would eat a new prey item).
The message:
I can only assume that Damballah ate the rat unless I ate it in my sleep or it rose from the dead and made a tactful and clever escape during the night.
Ladies and Gentlemen, my boyfriend.
