Boom bit competition ain't shit

Today is a day to be spent downloading music, as I am in need of a new driving CD. My first mission was a copy of "be aggressive", by Faith No More. As that song is one of my very favourite songs in existence. I went through hell trying to download the damn thing, though. It kept cutting out. Seems to be doing okay now, though.

I've also decided that it is high time to make a Gravediggaz collection. Hee! I found a remix of "Nowhere to Run" done by Portishead. This made me all goggled eyed and twitchy, I needed to have it. Need, I tell you.

I'm also downloading some songs that were played at the wedding last night, songs that I need to have in my possession. Fucking Lightning Seeds. When's the last time I heard their song "Pure"? Try like, more than ten years ago. Ten years!

I should really be getting in the shower soon. It's almost five o'clock and my hair is in a most disgusting state.

Being the Cover Tune whore that I am, here's some suggestions for ya, if you can find them on the net:

- H.I.M., Wicked Game - Dark Glam is a genre I'm just now discovering. Like the Cure on Steroids, with more muscle and no fucking whining.
- Dooms U.K., Paranoid - Punk polka band completely digests and shits out a new version of the Sabbath classic.
- In Extremo, This Corrosion - Ever wonder what TSOM would sound like if they were a european doom metal band, and instead of a choir they used bagpipes? No? What the fuck is wrong with you?
- Reel Big Fish, Hungry Like the Wolf - Yeah, everyone's heard this one already. But hey, if not, try it out.
- Mindless Self Indulgence, Bring The Pain - I'm pretty sure you already know this one. Feel free to smack me. If you HAVEN'T, then this is without argument the finest cover of a Method Man song done by MSI ever. Hands down.
