First official day of unemployment

I'm not counting the Thursday and Friday after my axe date as I wasn't home to fully experience the sit around in my pajamas aspect.

I have:

* contacted my credit card company regarding credit protection
* contacted my bank and told them I lost my job, asked about loan deferment
* applied ONLINE for unemployment benefits (this is true slacker-dom)
* updated my resume (that was done last night)

I still have to go through the Sunday paper and mark out jobs I'm interested (and not so interested) in. Tomorrow, I'll be heading out to Hot Topic with Buddy as he was told they're hiring for management and I've got an in through the one girl who works there that knows the Engineer.

I received a phone call this morning from a temp agency who saw my resume on Monster, but I'm a bit leary of becoming a temp. Though the pay he quoted to me was nice, I just don't want to do temp work. Sure, sure, sure, it's temp to hire. How many times have I heard that? Pah. I told him I'd mail my resume out to him, to look over. But, I really don't think I'm going to accept his offer.
