I called out of work today, citing an
upset stomach. In reality, it was because
this racket in my head is sliding towards
near unbearable. I couldn't go into the
office like this, I'd never get anything
productive done.

Orphan called me on the phone last night.
The ringing startled me and I kicked my
computer desk with a knee, thereby causing
the bat candle that Stellar sent me over
the weekend to topple over and lose a wing.
Poor little bat. I shall have to figure a
way to get him in flight again.

So now, it's just me wandering around the
apartment by myself. It's rather quiet
and I'm listless, once again. Surprise!
