Update:

(a small one because I'm too tired to do a full one)

It's been an extremely full few days, to say the least. We've had trips to Delaware for Mexican/Cajun food, we've had bad movies, we've had good movies. The Engineer and I decided that the next Muppet movie made should be "Muppets Take Philadelphia International Airport".

Trust me. It's a fabulous concept.

Currently, I've been doing a stitch and bitch with Carrie and Jah Pix. We taught her how to knit this evening. The estogen was a-flowing, much to the Engineer's dismay.

Many trips are in the planning stages. Tomorrow, Carrie and I are heading to the Mutter museum with Wemble. Thursday, we're going to CT to visit Pixie and probably stay the night. We've decided that a club crawl is in order. Pix says that Flux is (possibly) holding a slave auction this Thursday, which should prove to be quite interesting. Fake money and ass paddling, ahoy!

Now I'm drinking out of Carrie's glass of orange juice, so she's going to get my screeching case of herpes.

That's okay, because I licked her mouth when she was sleeping last night. So, I reckon she's already caught it.

In other news, we have formed a girl gang with Miss Robin. This consists of picking fights with random hicks in the parking lot of WaWa. As well as driving around and asking people if they want to be gang banged. T-shirts with the name of our girl gang (The Bang Gang), emblazoned with our credo (which has not been decided upon yet) are in the works.

Yesterday, we had an incident that Robin was missing for. We were standing in an aisle in PetSmart and some goofy ass woman was down a few feet away from us. Pet stores such as this have a policy where you can bring your pets into the store. Something which I have no problem with.

What I have a problem with is someone whaling the shit out of their cat when it's misbehaved. In public. Where it's probably already stressed and freaking out.

So, I'm staring her down because she just smacked the crap out of her cat. She looks at me (and The Engineer and Carrie), looks at her cat, and then says to her cat, "You'd better behave or I'll let those people sacrifice you."

Well. This could not go quietly.

I SHOUTED at top volume (which is quite loud), across the store at her, "I TREAT MY CATS A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THEN YOU DO!!"

hrmph.

The Engineer is busy trying to shush me, the woman is scurrying away, and Carrie is clueless. "What? What's going on? Why are you shouting?"

heh.

Explanations were given. Carrie then went to stand next to the woman in another aisle to stare her down.

Fucking cock rocket. I can't stand people like that.

Okay. I'm going back to my stitch and bitch now.

Despite the fact that I can't seem to fully grasp purling.

So! Tomorrow, Mutter Museum. Thursday, Flux in CT.

Woo hoo!

Man, I don't know where the fuck my head was. I was staring at a row of bottles of fish product, thinking about how much I hate standing around picking my ass in pet stores, probably.

That woman was such a stupid cow, though. I was right up in her shit and she couldn't look me in the eye. >:D

Personally, I'm just thrilled that I have somewhere to wear those boots with the spikes on top of the toe. P'raps I'll sharpen my nails to razor-sharp points to match. Got silver nail polish? Think they'll let me in? ;)

Also: BITCH. Lick my mouth again and I'll take a picture of Chris with my dick in his mouth while HE'S sleeping! >:O >:O >:O

And don't forget DC on Saturday!

I've mostly been using The Engineer's computer for the past few days. Which email? It's probably still in my in box. I'd check from here, but Earthlink webmail blows.

Ugh! I hate people like that. They see a bit of black and they are all about judging. It's like Axel was talking about at C9, the locals were fine and dandy but the "tourists" were driving by and hurling insults they were so nasty. And the thing is, more often then not, these people are the criminals, drug addicts, child abusers, and animal abusers. Not us. BAH! Fie on them.

Have fun at the museme and then have a great time in CT. Hope you and carrie and pixie have a blast at the clubs.

And god damn, help me, I've been reading harry potter for three days straight and can't stop!!!!

most definatly. It's amazing. I mean... ugh, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone but they are very much acting like the way actual kids and young adults their age act. It's completly convincing. I really feel I'm watching these people grow up which you seldom get in a book. I'm just wondering how she's going to handle the next two. I mean the war is coming, it's been coming for a while and it's only going to get uglier.

yeah, definitely...there's none of that Disney-fied kid-as-savvy-hero bullshit, the kids are VERY realistic and flawed, and the adults aren't bumbling morons. The characters are VERY lifelike. I'm enjoying them immensely. Good to know there's good literature for kids out there which doesn't pander to the stupid idea that they're morons. That's why they're so popular, I think.

Exactly, it doesn't condescend which is something that's been missing in children's literature (hell even adult literature) for some time. It's the same with Lemony Snicket books and why they and Terry Pratchett's The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents are so great. There is enough substance to entertain both the parent and the child and at the same time it doesn't make it so fake that it's like reading a Disney screen play.

Before the new Potter book came I was reading Peter Pan on the Guetenberg project and was suprised at the likeness to Lemony Snicket books but if you read the true classics of Children's Literature like Peter Pan (which has a very new and exciting movie coming out soon,) Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, or even the Doctor Suess books you have books that talk to children like equals not lessers.

The best part about the HP books is I think they offer some really good learning lessons and it's done in such a way to not preach or seem heavy handed. Now I just hope that they can keep this up for the movies. :-)
