Aug. 20th, 2002 01:37 amOne more doll done today, minus a face. Which is why you're not allowed to see a photo of her yet.
This one told me her name was Selene, as I was stitching up her dress (which, may I add, is the most favourite dress I've ever sewn before. I am a genius. hee!). I'm a little unsatisfied with her hair, as I decided to do short hair. It wound up coming out looking like ass. Which I fixed by wrapping it up in a piece of lace I had in my bits-and-bobs bag.
There is also a spot of white glue on her face, which makes me growling type angry. There also happens to be glue on my fingers, my skirt, the dining table, the carpet, and the cat.
Note to self: buy a different brand of craft glue, this one is much too runny.

But actually, I don't wanna talk about some of the stuff, I don't agree with experimenting with animals for non-essential drugs (but I do for cancer drugs, etc). It's why I switched professions.
Eeek.
A friend of mine works for a University animal lab and has told me some
fairly icky stories involving the experiments they have set up there. Most
of that stuff, however, was all for medical procedures and the like.
He also offered to get me a job there, once. Which I turned down. I've got
a fairly strong stomach, but I'm waaaaaaay too sensitive for that kind of stuff happening on a day to day basis. :(
