in my room
Sep. 10th, 2002 12:58 amI promised Carrie I would show her what my room closet looks like.

My bed. Notice the pedophile attracting Hello Kitty comforter, the stuffed animals, and the fat ass black cat lounging. He wouldn't stay away when I was trying to take photos. And he's too big to crop out without ruining the shot.

Above my bed, three shelves. That is a flappy bat on a spring, hanging from the one shelf.

Wall shot, showing part of the painting The Engineer did for me. The strange white things hanging from the ceiling are glow in the dark bats. I've got about nine of them hanging out in there. There was ten, until Wemble pulled one down a few weeks ago. She thought it was a pull cord for the light. But, I forgave her.

My altar to Baron Samedi. YOU WILL LOVE IT WITH EXTRA HELLO KITTY ALARM CLOCK!

The Eeyore Collective. Mulder and Scully, towards the bottom of the photo are on a sooper sekrit mission.

From the hallway.

From the hallway, second angle.

Bed and fat ass cat again. Who, I ask you, names a big fat cat "Tinkerbell"? SEXAY boxer shorts in the background.

Doors closed show the bunny logo from the Philadelphia writer's collective, Rabbitpunch, which I used to run.

Only part of my grand collection of shoes. Many more of them are scattered around the living room. The first doll I ever made, Charlie, is in the right bottom corner. And the skeletons hanging in the middle are a wind chime.

Doors closed again, to show the glow in the dark constellations I put up. Sadly, a number of the stars are now found on the floor. And in the bathroom. And the kitchen. And wherever else they wind up. Those frigging things are worse than glitter, for being picked up and carried elsewhere without one knowing.

Your lovely host, exhausted from a day of rearranging.

Re: i've never seen so many Eeyores...so...many..Eeyores...
Date: 2002-09-10 09:01 pm (UTC)I got the blanket from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. And the alarm clock from Target. I have an enormouse Sanrio collection, housed in my father's basement. But, that was all aquired from Tower Books when I worked there. We had Sanrio merchandise there and I was the buyer, which meant I got to go through all the catalogs with the sales rep. Which also meant a large portion of my pay was put aside for Hello Kitty goodness.
We used to refer to it as "Goodbye Paycheck". heee!
The nearest Sanrio store that I am aware of is in the King of Prussia mall, sadly.
