Aug. 10th, 2003 11:40 pmI hate these angry moods of mine.
They blow through me. A blast of stifling hot air cutting through the air conditioning to smack you in the face when you roll down the car window in the middle of August.
They have no rhyme or reason, however. Unlike summer weather, I can't predict when they'll roll into town. They make no sense and I hate it beyond compare.
adj : in a state of sulky dissatisfaction
These moments are the ones when people should stay away from me, for fear of leaving with a steak knife jammed in your eye.
*sigh*

Date: 2003-08-10 09:53 pm (UTC)The difference between feelings and thoughts, moods and convictions, confuses a lot of people. The end up saying or doing things that they know aren't always the best. Reflection on the difference is an honourable thing.
You have done this. You have recognized that you're in a mood and that your current feelings are not based on convictions ("they make no sense").
Even if you were a perpetual grump this would certainly make you are more stable person than those who can't tell the difference.
