I think I may have finally beaten my computer into submission.
Over the past week, we have been getting crazy pop up 'messenger service' blips, which are actually just adverts for porn sites and sites telling you how to get rid of pop ups. This became most annoying. And it took me quite some time to figure out how to make them GO AWAY.

I think I finally did, though. Because I've been online for about an hour or so and haven't gotten a single one.

The Engineer and I headed out to the bookstore this evening, as it's our weekly ritual hanging out with The Priest They Called Him and Miss Robin. Mister Kyle and Doug were also there (the guys who made the zombie movie we were all in a couple of months back). Kyle gave me a five dollar dvd of Dangerous Liasons, because I had bought it at Tower Records for fifteen. Now, I just have to drag my lazy ass back to the record store so I can return it.

I'm feeling kind of listless and out of sorts again. It's rather late, quarter past two in the morning, but I'm not tired at all. There's a million things I'd like to be doing right now other then just sitting here, but I don't know which to do. I can't clean though, which is what I normally do when I'm feeling like this. It's much too late and I'd wind up waking someone.

Tomorrow I should have my unemployment check in my hot little hand and I think I'm going to go on a hunt for a new labret stud. I'm getting a bit bored with the opal one I've been wearing for the past four years. I think it's time for a change. Maybe I'll even splurge and buy some new clothes (if there's anything good on clearence).

What I should REALLY do is start sorting things out of my belongings to be hawked on eBay. I have a bin of them already in my storage unit, they just need to be photographed. Which is terribly monotonous. And I seem to have lost my Photoshop disk, so resizing the images is going to be a trial.

I think I'm going to curl up with the ratties for awhile and read on the couch.

If you don't find anything you like, let me know. I can order almost any gemstone you can think of in a bezel setting. I'd be happy to send it to you at cost plus shipping, to save you (probably a lot) of $.

I currently have a gorgeous 4mm almadine garnet cabochon, 3mm moonstone and amethyst cabochons, and 4mm brilliant-cut CZ, aquamarine and amethyst cabochons (all in white gold) in stock.

My personal favorites are bullet shapped cabochons, like a short blunt spike.

Most Labret ends are made with 1.2 metric threads, so you don't have to buy the entire stud every time.

hrrrrm, this sounds like a very good idea. Especially because during my search this evening I found absolutely NO labret studs. Not even plain ones. Which is kind of irritating.

They had a billion and one navel pieces of crap, lots of plugs and captive ball hoops, but no labret jewellery. grr.

The stud I currently have is threaded weird, from what I remember. It was a custom job out of Infinite in Philadelphia. And I dimly remember them telling me that the thread on these studs runs differently then regular ones. But, I'm not sure how to verify this.
So, I'd probably have to buy a whole new piece. hoom.

Got any photos of the bullety ones? I've never seen anything like that before and the sound of it pleases me.

Thanks. :)
