two cauliflower holes in the snow

thejunipertreeI am making cauliflower with cheese sauce at one in the morning.
Why?
It is my ultimate comfort food. And as I seem to be in a real pisser of a mood, I reckoned I could use some of that cauliflower happiness.
This evening, I charged a rather large amount of fabric and suchlike to my credit card. In a bid to raise my spirits (and also to get my ass into gear with some projects I wish to work on). Some of it is very, very nice (and the one I bought cost 12.99 a fucking yard, eeek). They did not, however, have the psuedo black pvc that I had spotted two weeks ago. One of the salespeople told me that they get shipments on Wednesdays, so I'm going to have a look back. I really need that psuedo pvc. I REQUIRE it, even.
Tomorrow, I have YET ANOTHER of those stupid unemployment orientation meetings. At the last one, I kept nodding off because it was so fucking boring. Luckily, I always choose to sit in the back. I suppose it's a big middle finger salute to when I was in school and always had to sit in the front of the classroom because my maiden name starts with a B.
Also, everyone needs to peep my new layout that Miss Carrie made for me. I am most pleased and squiggly over it. I am immensely grateful to her, despite the fact that she makes public posts in her journal telling everyone that I collect food stamps. ;P

Date: 2003-08-27 12:09 am (UTC)Also, if you want to learn dollmaking the best thing I can recommend is buying a simple pattern. Trial and error. That's how I figured it out. If I had a scanner, I'd scan in the one that I use for you. :/
