it's bubonic!
Oct. 4th, 2003 03:24 amBetween my allergies, my mother's cold, and whatever the fuck my brother is currently battling this apartment is starting to sound like the goddamned plague ward. Ashes, ashes.
It's a bit disturbing, really.
Especially in the middle of the night.
Also, I managed to screw up post-dating checks for my vet bill and one of them (the biggest one for $150) is going to go through on the 10th. Which is not a pay week for me. Fuck fuck fuck. Now I've got to call the office on Monday and ask them if I can bring in another check. grr.
*edit*
Furthermore, I think that once I get my finances under some form of control I'm going to put the Caddy on the road. I'm tired of dancing around schedules to use my mother's car. Especially when my brother is also driving it. Despite the fact that he has HIS OWN damn car. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and stop being afraid of driving that monster.
It's big, yeah. And it's going to suck down gas like a hooker sucking cock at a sailor convention. But, it's MINE. Free and clear. I can chip away at the aesthetic repairs it needs, bit by bit. First of which will be the headliner as I have no desire to drive around with the roof drifting around my ears.
I'm a better driver now then I was when I first drove it. Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem to get used to.
Hopefully.
