My brother wrote my mom a post dated check for her two chemo visits this week, which the office said they would cash whenever he wanted them to. Just as long as they had something showing that a payment would be made. So, she got her second treatment of the new round of chemo today. Thankfully.
Though she had a small problem during the treatment involving getting dizzy and her blood pressure skyrocketing, which apparently is another one of the stupid damn side effects. They stopped the IV and gave her some medication until everything went back to normal.
I feel bad because I couldn't go with her either today or yesterday, because I've been sick. And I don't want to walk into a room with thirty or so other people who have severely depleted immune systems, potentially infecting them with my ebolaplague. She says it's okay that I didn't go, but I still feel shitty about it.
