I haven't seen Happy Times. The Joy Luck Club gave me a bitch moment though. Stupid movies about feelings and shit. Strangely enough, that crappy movie AI depressed the shit out of me too. I haven't seen Love Actually yet but I did consider it. Was it horrible?
Actually it was quite good (I wasn't crying out of torture) I thought it was really well done and the vingettes blended well together. I didn't watch the Joy Luck Club but I read the Kitchen God's Wife which had some "moments" in it. *sniffle* I am getting all teary now.....
Yeah, I read the Kitchen God's wife, Joy Luck and one other one that I can't remember. Something to do with a psychic sister or something. Her stuff started to get tedious after a while though. All she wrote about was men smacking around chinese women and how she never understood her mother or sister or father or neighborhood pet store owner, etc until it was too late.
Don't watch the Joy Luck Club, you'll get even more sniffly. I'm not sure I can remember any books that made me all wussified. Well, the Bible but that's because I miss Jesus and shit. He woulda been cool to hang with.
I cried at a part in one of the Harry Potter novels....that's sad -but for the most part books don't make me cry -they make me think too damn much.....and I took a Bible as Lit class -very interesting....reminds me of one of the questions I ask on my five question personality assessment quiz.....
I never got to finish the 4th Harry Potter book. I'm assuming that's the book you're talking about. We did the bible in a myth and folklore class I took in college many, many years back. Damn, if only I knew then what I know now.....

I'm trying to remember the Potter books now. Damn, I'm drawing a blank. I'm pretty sure I don't remember the Weasleys winning anything in the books I read. Then again, my memory's shot full of holes due to my age and bad habits.
