When one wishes to communicate that they are hestitating over something because of being unsure of it or afraid of it, the word that one uses is 'leary'. Not 'weary'.

Also, while I'm on the subject. When an animal is flighty and shy and startles at small sounds, it is 'SKITTISH' not 'SKIDDISH'.

i've also always spelled it leary,
never thought of doing "leery"
because i thought that was a mis-used tense of "leer"
which we know has no link to leary.
