At first, I thought it was just going to be my direct supervisor and our compliance officer. However, I glanced out the window as they were leaving and saw all three of my smoking buddies getting into the cars with them.
I am so alone.
No, wait.
I. Am. Utterly. Alone.
I'll say it again in (in Spanish, even!): ¡BASTARDOS DE LA RATA!
Although this has given me the chance to take off my shoes, drink three cans of sugar-free Red Bull* and blare Tom Waits all morning to my heart's content. I even did a little dance in my socks while I was filing.
* remind to NEVER do this again, eh? Baaaad idea.
