I know there's probably more that was suggested, but I can't think of them right at this moment. I am brain dead. Had a late night last night and a long (almost 13 hour) day at work, which was filled with CRISIS and DRAMA (which most of my work days are filled with). I also managed to fall off of a curb and bust my shit up. Now, I've got an enormous scrape of road rash on my right knee and a smaller scrape on my left. Both ankles are twisted, but I managed to not land with all of my weight on my left knee, as I am prone to doing. Thankful for small favours and all that. How did I fall from a curb? Don't ask. I don't even know. One minute I was walking around the car to get into the driver's side and the next, I was on the asphalt with Miss Rowan running over to me. I sometimes wonder if I should wear a helmet. Maybe some mittens. Protection for myself from myself.
I also, just now, managed to fuck up making soft boiled eggs for my mom. She requested them for dinner and I obliged. However, I have never made a soft boiled egg in my entire life. She told me what to do and I followed it by the letter. However, they turned out to not be soft boiled. More like medium boiled, somewhere inbetween soft and hard. Semi-boiled eggs.
I can make gumbo and jamabalaya with my freaking eyes shut, but I can't soft boil an egg?
Christ, it's a good thing she didn't ask me to make something difficult.
Like toast.
Who knows what would have resulted then?
Thank you, everybody, for all the help you're giving me.

I've looked into this extensively already,
but thank you anyway (and thank you to your
mom, too).
