Earlier this evening, I wrote a tremendously
long entry about the problems of my life, how
I've been contemplating eradication of my
existence (not to mention what it would feel
like to begin cutting again), worry over not
hearing from Orphan today, disgust with myself
for everything, and various bits and bobs of
my normal day-to-day speak.
LiveJournal, of course being how my luck runs,
decided to be down after I'd finished writing it.
Now it's lost in the ether somewhere and I don't
feel like an attempt on rewriting it.
Blar!
All of the above still stands though. I shall
leave you with one quote I can remember:
"Sometimes, I wish I could just fall asleep
and never wake again. Well. Only sometimes."
So there you have it.
I've had four hours of sleep in two days.
This makes for a very interesting me, let alone
stimulating conversation. Wee Heather and Jenn
are alledgely coming over to pick me up, though
I'm not quite up for a go out at the moment.
Right now, I'd really just rather lie around
and read one of the books I bought yesterday.
The Mieville one is the one I decided to delve
into first. Which is just grand by me. It's a bit
more sci-fi/fantasy than his last book was.
Especially as it seems to be set in some fantastic
alien world. This usually isn't my style, but
this would appear to be an amazing writer who
can keep (let alone capture) my interest in a
setting/genre that I normally don't care
particularly much for.
There's supposed to be a thunder storm on the way,
which I have been waiting most patiently for.
First clap of thunder and I shall be outside,
arms spread wide. Rain will make me happy.
Rain always makes me happy. Especially storms.
