ICU wards and Victoria's Secret swag

I keep hearing this noise, very soft and distant, which sounds like a cell phone ringing. The only person who lives in this apartment with a cell phone is my brother, who can sleep through a war.

It makes me a bit worried if it IS indeed his phone because a friend of his is in the hospital right now and has been for quite some time. hoom. He went to visit him this evening, as he had just gotten out of the ICU ward, but I've no idea of the status of his condition yet. It's a bit troubling.

I've deduced that it is NOT a cell phone ringing, as it's still ringing now and has been for the past ten minutes. It must be either something outside or something coming from one of the other apartments.

I know, I know I said I was going to bed as soon as I came back downstairs as tomorrow is going to be a very long day. As I was walking past the computer to turn out the light, my email notice sounded and I couldn't resist its siren call. heh. I'm so weak willed.

Tomorrow is my mother's birthday and Miss Robin was kind enough to give me some surplus Victoria's Secret bath gear she had, from her days of working there, to give as a present (since I am one unemployed and broke Monsta). I've decided that I'm going to mark it as being not just from me alone, but also from The Engineer and Miss R.

Now I just need to find one of our millions of left over gift bags to put it into.
