thejunipertreeFor the first time in many months, when I asked mother how she was doing today, she replied: "Ok."
And meant it.
And kind of looked it.
She's been back at the hospital for the past couple of days, due to her nephrostomy tube being pulled out. Again. They reinserted both tubes and she's been getting regular infusions from her peg line (feeding tube), as opposed to the lax care she receives at the nursing home. Her brain isn't quite working right though, not that she was ever all that on target. Neither am I half the time, for that matter. So, who am I to talk?
On the way home, I made a side trip to AC Moore to buy stamps for bag stamping. Miss Robin and I are vending at this weekend's Monster Mania (in Cherry Hill) and we wanted to make the product bags a little fancy. There wasn't much there to choose from, really. Kind of crap, actually. But, I ferreted out two semi-decent stamps.

Right now, I'm staying up past my bedtime to see Nick Cave on the Letterman show. However, it would appear that EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING is more important to Mister Letterman, because EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING seems to be coming on before Nick Cave performs. And that fucker has an advance copy of the new album, which I covet most covetously. I would like to go and wash my hair before I go to bed, but I know if I do it now, I'm going to miss what I want to see.

See my dad is crazy.
He told me the siz eof the bags and was completely wrong.
The bags a are HUGE.
You could even fit chedder cheese thinghs in them
So, I searched high and low and found a big ole box of regular plastic bags with handles - 250 for $10.
I could still get some of the brown bags if you want to decorate.
Sorry I should have called you. I assumed we'd both go out tomorrow to do it but no, you had to go be all proactive and stuff.
