new babies!

thejunipertreeMy friend who was getting me a Dumbo finally came through. And now I'm the mama of not one, but two wee Dumbo rats. Littermates, the pair of them.
This is Aleister. He's extremely laid back and cuddly, he lets me scoop him and bestow upon him a million rattie kisses.
And this is Speck! He's hyper and it took me a million tries to get a clear photo of him. In taking these photos, he also got tangled in my hair twice. I think he's part Rex, because he has lovely curly whiskers. And apparently the daddy was a Rex.
Someone thinks it's funny to mess with my webcam when I'm fussing with the rats, apparently.
