I'm going away for the next couple of days, to hide in the woods and play with fire.

Things have been pretty rough the past week, I haven't even delved into all of it because it's too exhausting. However, I will say that all of you who have supported me through this, or had a kind word to say to me, you fucking rock.

Specific messages (not really related):

Miss Ella- I don't know if you'll see this or not, but I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry for not calling you back. I was dead to the world when you called and only remembered late this evening. I'll call when I get home from camping.

Miss Sola- I received the shawl and it's beautiful. Thank you ever so much! What was in the little sachet? I've been stuffed up with allergies and can't detect what's in it.

camping schmamping, take off your pants...

Dearest, no worries - I felt horrible that I woke you up. We'll catch up after your retreat. Let me know if you need anything done in your absence. I'm sure that being in the woods will give you the deep grounding that you've been seeking...you should bring a few of your altar pieces with you for a little recharge; also bringing back a few things from nature to the apartment should do wonders too...

much love,

Ella

Wish I was coming with you as it's...

...wild mushroom season!

And when you get back don't feel guilty about taking a time-out. You need it and you've earned it.

My time-outs comprise French and Spanish Classes, which I really didn't feel like attending, but I forced myself to go, and now I'm glad I did. I just hoped there wouldn't be the classic question "How was your holiday?". Luckily that was the week before, which I missed!

"That's what a robot would say, if he wanted bread."

I knew I heard that right!

oh, good; i was just wondering today if it got there yet. as for the sachet, it's, er, either cedar needles snatchz0red from washington state, or lavender from last year's harvest: if it's crunchy, it's cedar, and if it's squishy, it's the lavender.

Hey, sweetheat, take care of yourself. I'm thinking of you and your mum daily. I'll be speaking to the Baron. There's not much one can say with these things, but you know where I am if you need me.
