thejunipertreeCleaning out my work-email and stumbling across an email sent to me by my mother in early May.
I didn't realize it was quite that late in the year when she was still home, although I think that must have been the Wednesday before she was taken to the hospital.
And a black wave of painlossemptiness washes over me for the first time.
It's becoming a bit hard to breathe.
I'm not ready for this.
