Turning around from my desk, I fully expected to see sunlight coming through the window. Instead, it was completely dark outside. The sun's gone down. It's more than a little bit disorienting, like when you drink from a glass expecting it to be one thing and it turns out to be something totally different.

It's amazing how this keeps happening to me. Particularly, at work. Maybe I should rearrange my office, so that my back isn't to the window?

I do not know. It would most likely fit in with the current theme of my weekend however, which seems to be separating the wheat from the chaff.

I gave a pin to Micheal Stipe during the Monster tour that read "fuck you you fuking fuck".....he said he would wear it with pride.

I'm not into men, but if I was....

I have always been of the mind to have Michael Stipe in my pocket, at all times.

What does your desk face now? A wall? If you can rearrange your space, I would face the desk to the window, and if it's opposite your door, put a mirror somewhere so that you can see if people are coming in the door behind you. Ideally you should face the door, and if you could do that, and your back was/is to the window, put a mirror over your desk to reflect the window at you.

It faces a wall.

It's impossible to turn my desk around to face the window, as I HAVE to have it face the door to keep people from seeing the computer and any HR sensitive communications on the screen.

The mirror idea on the wall, to reflect the window at me, is a very good idea though.
