i lost my cell phone in january, and caused a bit of a scene. i had been out of town, staying in a hotel, and suspected i had maybe left it in the room or dropped it someplace. i really did not think i was getting it back.

the night after i returned home, i couldn't sleep, and just decided (at around 3am) to call my cell phone. it rang and rang, and then went to voice mail, which i checked for msgs. then i thought "hrm, if the battery isn't dead, maybe someone will hear it!", so I called again about half an hour later. just rang and rang. another half hour goes by, i call again, and this time it goes straight to voice mail. "damn, the battery ran out" is what I thought.

first thing the next morning I call the hotel. housekeeping verifies that they do have the phone. apparently the businessman who was staying in the room the night before was woken up by it a couple of times and finally found it under the bed, up by the headboard. he immediately called the concierge and was NONE TOO PLEASED.

ladfksjljk;dfsalk;jdfsa. i kinda felt like a jerk, but hey, at least someone heard me and found it!
