Miss Angel gave me two dark chocolate-covered caramel apples for Administrative Assistant's day, which I am very pleased about. However, I've become nigh on unbearable with shouting orders from my office and declaring, "It's my day! MY day!"

In addition to being Administrative Assistant's day, we are also dead in the middle of Employee Appreciation week, which meant that the entire admin office was bought lunch from the Olive Garden by our CEO. We were also treated to the sight of him dumping almost his entire meal in his lap, told that New York is a very big place, and asked to look for methotrexate in the wild.

Joanna and I got a lot of warning glares from Angel because of the giggling coming from our end of the table. We probably shouldn't sit next to each other during any sort of company function, but it always happens.

I'm beginning to believe that I can't eat food that was ordered out anymore, or food from resturaunts. Every time I do, I feel slightly-sometimes-ranging-to-downright ill. Eating at home does not produce this result. My body must be changing again, this does not make me very happy. Especially since I have a hoarded piece of black tie mousse cake hidden in the work fridge for later on today. Black tie mousse cake is god-like, omnipotent.

My benefit check from my mother's 401K came in the mail yesterday, which drew much dancing of giddiness from my feet. It's not the big check, that would be the life insurance policy, but it's five hundred dollars I didn't have before.

Five hundred dollars is enough money to give me the hiccups. To celebrate, I ordered the rhinestone Vivienne Westwood skull and crossbones necklace I've been wanting (for only $18!) and I'll bee perusuing the platform shoe selection on eBay this afternoon.

Rhinestone skulls and platform shoes.
Not many other phrases in the English language define me quite so well.

The concept of the 'rain of frogs' has been continually popping up in my life the past couple of days. This is starting to creep me out.

Well, I am powerfully psychic. I tell people that all the time when I say things that creep them out, but they never believe me. I mean that only half jokingly.
