Feb. 16th, 2006 12:22 pmThis is really going to happen, isn't it? I'm going to be a college student. :D
Admissions, spoken to (my application was still on file from the last time I attempted this).
Transcripts, being sent out next week.
Now all I have left is getting re-immunized, taking placement tests, and speaking with financial aid.
I'm going to need an enormous amount of financial aid. Living on my own and supporting myself doesn't exactly make it easy for a person to go to college full-time. As a matter of fact, it makes it pretty goddamn difficult. I know I can get my tuition for damn near free because of age and all manner of grants, but I'm hoping to also get a loan for living expenses so that I can drop working to part-time.
I haven't really been talking about this with everyone, so if anyone is surprised, don't feel left out. Tuesday night, I had a 'put up or shut up' moment while I was in the shower and washing my hair. I've been talking about going back to school forever, but not actually getting anywhere with it. I applied when Mom was still alive, but everything got so crazy that I couldn't follow through with it. Ever since then, I've been bumping around and talking a big talk about wanting to go to mortuary school. Big talker, that's me. Well, that's over now.
Now. Now is the time.
This is going to happen.
It's happening as we speak.

You and the little mister were two of the people going through my head on Tuesday when I was beating the crap out of myself thinking about things. You guys did it/are doing it, therefore I could as well. Right? Right.
