Go to bed early? Pshaw, says I.

I stayed up too late looking at photos of these and researching:

Piebald Ball Python

I want one like I'm getting a paycheck to want it.
Right now, however, they're running roughly between $3k and $5k.

:/

That is one seriously kyoot snake.

When my lizards finally kick off, I'm getting a corn snake. They need a lot less space and food and are almost as purty.

I love them like a loving thing loves things.

Watch this space later on tonight to see my boyfriend chiding me about how if I "just wait a couple of years, the prices will go down". hee.

Corn snakes are wonderful. They have such happy faces. What kind of lizards do you currently have?

I have 2 leopard geckos, Janis and Jerry. They're good lizards--handleable, small, low-maintenance, and they feel nice--bumpy on top and velvety baby skin on the underside. They like hanging out on people's collars and just surveying the landscape.

Those are really pretty snakes. I saw some at a reptile show a couple of years back, and they're gorgeous.

Expensive, though, yeah.

In other snake news, my Australian jungle carpet python is 9 feet long now.

I would slap my own momma for one.
Good thing she's passed away, or she'd kick my ass for that comment. ^_^

Oh man.

I briefly contemplated getting something that would grow big, like a boa or maybe a retic. But, I don't want to have to find it a new home if it turns out that I can't handle something that large. I used to live with a ten-foot boa and I couldn't even pick the damn lazy lug up.

I do, however, do not want to get something tiny. Not right now, at any rate. I figure ball pythons are a good in-between. For now. :D

Ah, snakes. You can never have just one.
