rrrrrr.

When I tell you, someone who has many different pieces of paper that claim you are smarter than me, that if you do not do [Specific Action] in [Specified Time Frame], then do not come crying to me when [Predicted Consquence] happens. You simpering, fudgeknuckled buffoon.

P.S.
Do you understand what the words "shareholder" and "owner" actually mean? You don't, do you?

P.P.S.
And stop speaking in a condescending manner to me. I'm smarter than you'll ever fucking know.

Oh! Oh! The pieces of paper! I just told our intern, as I gave him some writing assignments, rather than standard shitwork, "then you'll have the beginnings of a portfolio, which, if you want to go into advertising, is worth more than any piece of paper a school can give you. You could go to Joe's Basketweaving College by way of mail, if you have a good portfolio, nobody will ever ask.

See, your education makes sense to me. You can't just "pick up" embalming and funeral work on the job. But a lot of jobs? Those pieces of paper mean nothing, other than you had someone who could afford them and/or you're in considerable debt.

College is good for people who want to be doctors and lawyers and veterinarians and morticians and specifically skilled careers. Trade schools are also good for people who need skill sets. But the vast majority of diplomas are the world's most expensive pieces of paper and if I knew in 1994 what I know now, a LOT of things would be different.
