After many years of trying, I have at last successfully gotten my goddamn hair up into a figure eight bun/knot. I've been completely obsessed with this style ever since reading My Sweet Audrina by VC Andrews when I was a freshman in high school. Yes, my taste in reading material is highly questionable.

Seriously, you don't even want to know how retarded I feel now, once I learned exactly how ridiculously easy it is. I reckon all I needed were good and proper directions, which I finally found. Praise be to the internet.

Now, my hair is rarely down. Mostly because it is officially past my waist and wearing it down is a pain in the goddamn ass. And partly because it's a lot like having a new toy. Hairtoys, ahoy!
