I don't believe in absolute good or evil, why
is this a difficult concept to absorb, people?

I don't believe in the Wiccan, unicorn hugging,
bunny fucking homilies of "do what thou wilt,
shall ye harm none". Fuck that. In the ass.

In someone decides that they're going to harm
a loved one of mine, I am going to do everything
within my power (and this isn't me being all
metaphysical and witchy and bullshit, I will
smite thee with a crowbar if I have to) to
BRING THEM DOWN.

You do not fuck with the people I care about.
You do not fuck with me.

End of story.

I belong to an occult discussion group (in meat
space, not online) that meets one a week on Sunday
at the local Border's cafe. I drink massive
amounts of chai tea and discuss different witchy
things (shut up and stop laughing). On numerous
occasions, when I have brought up the concept
of no absolute good/evil, some people seem to
balk at the notion, as well as getting shaky
over the idea that I refuse to acknowledge any
kind of "three fold law" or karma. I have no
qualms about pulling out the voodoo mojo
against someone who has crossed me. My anger
can be huge and quite fiery.

Physically, meta-physically, whatever. I've
got a temper. And it's a bitch. Sometimes, it
can have a long fuse. And sometimes, if you
punch the jolly, candy-like red button...I will
erupt like mother fucking Mount St. Helen's in
the space of three seconds.

I will do whatever it takes to get what I desire.
And if you piss me off, I shall smite thee.

In closing, does this make me Slytherin? ;)

the three-fold law always applies. but you are part of the Law as well as subject to it.


i have always read it as "do not begin attacks, but finish confrontations". the Law is a law of both civility and survival.

With all due respect Sola, if I do not
believe in a specific (non legal, mind you)
law, then how does it apply to me?

You may feel that I am part of that law,
but I do not.

A Hassidic Jew does not eat pork, nor do
Muslims I believe. They feel it is unclean
and to them, this is a law. That does not apply
to me, either as I am not Hassidic or Muslim.

The problem with (most) religions is that they
feel their small part of the the picture
encompasses everyone else, in addition to
themselves.

As I feel all religions are only different
interpertations of a single Godhead, I respect
what others think while forming my
own opinion of the entire portrait.
