Finance manager is submitting it right now, but if all goes well- I'll be going in on the 17th to sign papers.

Date: 2009-01-05 11:20 pm (UTC)I wish I could be all :D about it, but at the moment- my brain is still all OMGCRISISCRYCRYCRY. I am also NOT happy about my father giving me a thousand dollars for this. I tried to talk him out of it. :/
The dealer dropped a couple thousand off the car for me when we started having problems with the banks, so it's now $18,200. I got rejected by every single bank they work with except for Mini Financial, who is apparently hardcore. And I think they're as desparate to sell me the car as I am to get one!
I put a five hundred dollar deposit down over the phone and now I'm twitchy.

Date: 2009-01-05 11:33 pm (UTC)You'll be so delighted when you get the car. Also, I recommend asking that the dealer valet it properly when you get it with a good coating of wax if they don't do it already, because of the time of year. It's been really bugging me that I can't wash my car!

Mostly because it's been pissing down freezing rain for the past two days and I am quite tired of going in the car through the passenger side and getting soaked in the process.
I don't know how I'm even going to handle being able to enter a car through the driver's side door. Or having proper heat. Or defrosters that actually work. WHAT MANNER OF WITCHCRAFT IS THIS?!
I also think I have a name ready for the Mini, as well.
